Weber JV lost on the road at Sky View. Brandon’s capener had 18 and Hudson Schenck had 17 in the loss.

Municipal Offices of North Ogden to be filled are mayor and two City Council positions—all are 4-year terms. Candidate filing is from June 1st through June 7th. Tthe petition must be filed in person at the City Recorder office.

The North Ogden Recreation office wants to remind everyone they have snow shoe rentals available.

Employee of the month is Laura Barker.  She has been a clerk of the court for North Ogden Justice Court for the last 15 years. Congratulations on being employee of the month.

Weber High School Boys Varsity Basketball falls to Fremont High School 62-49

Leading by 4 59 start the 4th Fremont broke the game open to start the 4th with a quick 7-0 run and Weber never got back closer than 10. Conner Shaw led the Warriors with 17 whole Gage Johnson had 16.

Certain schools in the Weber County area are experiencing massive growth, particularly in the western area.  Weber School District stakeholders are looking at several options for an ongoing boundary study.  Many of our schools are reaching maximum capacity and some even exceeding it.

Donors urgently needed to increase Red Cross blood supply

(Feb. 2, 2017) – The American Red Cross urgently needs blood donors to make an appointment to give this winter so that patients can continue to receive lifesaving treatments.

Michael Harper knows how critical it is to have a readily available blood supply. “I used over 300 units of blood when I was younger after an auto accident. Blood donations helped save my life,” he said. “Now, I would like to donate as much or more than I have received.”
