to me
I and my wife have been using renewable energy on our home for several years now. We just recently completed the missing link to our system by adding a 4.5 kw PV system. I am quite surprised to see all of these new homes going in and not a single one has any renewable energy installed.
Here are something’s people should be think of,
· You get to pay for your energy in one lump sum. (For I and my wife that means that we don’t have to worry about paying the light bill for the next 25+ years)
· So what the price of electricity is going up you make your own!! (You already paid for yours)
· Less pollutant’s in this valley we all live in. (Can you imagine if everyone drove an electric car that produces ZERO CO2 emissions)
· Thermal panels will make hot water even on the coldest day.
· It is the only investment that you will add to your home that actually saves you money$$ (Instead of paying your power bill why not put it in an IRA, so you can retire someday ?)
Here are some interesting facts,
· My son had the very first solar system in North Ogden. (Inspector said that this was his very first ever)
· My father had the first in Farr West.
· The amount of solar systems in this area could probably be counted on my fingers and toes, what a shame!
