BYU to Honor Hatch at Homecoming Game for 4-Year Effort to Secure Y Mountain Purchase
SALT LAKE CITY—During a special ceremony at tonight’s homecoming football game, Brigham Young University will honor Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, for his role in helping the university purchase Y Mountain from the federal government—the culmination of a four-year legislative effort in Congress. BYU President Kevin Worthen, Vice President of Advancement Matthew Richardson, and Athletic Director Tom Holmoe will lead a brief on-field presentation recognizing Hatch at the end of the first quarter.
