Electors, please do not do Putin's bidding, by electing Donald Trump president! Our leaders failed us when they refused to warn, before the election, that our government had proof that Russian intelligence agencies hacked our election to help elect Trump. The Russians themselves admitted proudly that their government had contacts with various members of the Trump team during the campaign. Why? Maybe so that Rex Tillerson, recipient of Russia's highest honor and head of Exxon, could become Secretary of State to loosen sanctions against Russia to let the largest oil drilling deal on the planet go forward? This would enrich Tillerson, Putin, and possibly the president-elect. We don't know what Trump's dealings are because he has not released his tax returns, nor divested his financial holdings. Conveniently he'll identify how he will handle his finances only after the Electoral College's vote. Since Trump considers himself “smart” for paying no federal taxes, shouldn't we assume that he would be “smart” to financially profit from being President? Trump is the Trojan Horse for Putin, and we must not let this unholy alliance begin. Republicans, please tell your Electors to vote for the candidate who won the popular vote by 2,800,000 million. Electors, many who are uncomfortable making Trump president, must exercise the rights and responsibility given them by the Constitution and their fellow citizens, and use moral judgment to act in the interests of our nation. Right now, more than ever, we need patriots, not partisans!
