The new Nature Park is still under construction and will continue to be a construction area for the summer. Plans are to erect two bowery structures, playground equipment, and rest rooms. Again these are construction areas. We are anxiously awaiting the safety railings extending off the bridge around the corners so it can be opened. We will keep you updated, but encourage you to enjoy the walking path and beautiful view of the area. PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!!
A BIG THANK YOU! Thank you to the 5th & 6th grade classes from the Promontory School of Expeditionary Learning. About 100 Students spent time pulling weeds, cleaning up sticks, leaves and debris from the Willard Main Park and the Willow Creek Park and pulling Dyers’ Woad from the new recreation area behind the dike. Thank you for the service to our community! GREAT JOB!!!!!
Remember the construction out in South Willard will continue for the summer. Because it is a construction zone, the speed limit is 45 miles per hour…. It is being enforced!
