Governor to announce Talent Ready Utah grant program and executive board
What:
Gov. Gary R. Herbert will announce the new Talent Ready Utah executive board and launch the grant application process. More than $2.1 million will be awarded to develop and enhance programs to meet industry needs, build career pathway programs and provide work-based learning opportunities. The grant program, formerly known as the Utah Cluster Acceleration Partnership, will now be part of Talent Ready Utah and the governor’s goal to fill 40,000 new high-skill, high-paying jobs over the next four years.
Past grant recipients will demonstrate their success and the importance of industry/education partnerships and work-based learning opportunities in the Capitol Rotunda.
