CEO of Hemp, Inc., Bruce Perlowin, Discusses Aggressive Growth Strategy with The Stock Day Podcast
,
Newsfile•February 19, 2020
Phoenix, Arizona--(Newsfile Corp. - February 19, 2020) - The Stock Day Podcast welcomed Hemp, Inc. (OTC Pink: HEMP) ("the Company"), a company that seeks to build a business constituency for the American small farmer, the American veteran, and other groups experiencing the ever-increasing disparity between tapering income and soaring expenses. CEO of the Company, Bruce Perlowin, joined Stock Day host Everett Jolly.
"Why is reselling CBD to manufacturers the best source of action for your company right now?", asked Jolly to begin the interview. Perlowin explained that while the Company plans to develop their own product line, their primary goal is to focus on building a B2C pipeline. "We see ourselves as a backup for the big companies; We want to position ourselves to be part of the supply chain," said Perlowin, adding that the Company is also looking to service start-ups and small companies. "I took a pretty radical step when I said, 'I will sell one kilo for the same price as I sell ten thousand kilos'," said Perlowin. "We're supporting the start-up American entrepreneur."
Jolly then asked how the role as a major part of the CBD supply chain will benefit the Company, and inquired about their distribution strategy. Perlowin explained that the Company is receiving a 30% discount on CBD orders and will be offering a 20% off discount when resold. "We'll make 10% for being in the middle. That's an enormous amount of revenue for the company, it's a great deal for both the big manufacturers and the start-ups, and I'm happy with 10% just from brokering it and being part of the supply chain," said Perlowin, noting that the revenue potential could represent around $200,000 in monthly sales.
The conversation then turned to the Company's pre-roll sales. Perlowin explained that pre-roll sales were previously delayed due to changing regulations, but with the development of blended pre-roll products the Company has been able to move forward in compliance with FDA regulations. "The King of Hemp pre-roll is actually being sold now in Las Vegas and other places where we know it is compliant," explained Perlowin, adding that the Company is also taking pre-orders.
"We're launching the King of Hemp store in Kingman, Arizona," shared Perlowin. "This will have everything hemp," he added, noting that the store will grow to include a wide variety of hemp brands and products. "I have a very unrealistic goal, I'll admit that upfront, of trying to open 200 of these stores in 8 months," said Perlowin before elaborating on the Company's strategy to target bank buildings for these locations.
Jolly then asked about the Company's financials, as well as their stop sign with the OTC market. Perlowin explained that the Company filed a lawsuit against the OTC for preventing them from posting financials through the market due to a civil case with the SEC, which has been resolved. "We do post our financials, but we post them on our website," said Perlowin. "I think we will win that lawsuit," added Perlowin.
To close the interview, Perlowin expanded on the potential of the Company as they begin to produce revenues. "Our whole focus right now is marketing and revenues, and we have the infrastructure to support huge marketing and sales operations," closed Perlowin.

Set in a fantasy world that has a pre-Christian concept and full of magic and fantasy creatures, the story introduces Willow Eliza Grey, an ambitious half demon, half witch who uses religion to suppress the masses. After 200 years, half of the population she was suppressing start to wake up to see the truth. A girl named Kaida becomes the turning point for those that are starting to believe that the religion is a lie and stands in the way of Willow’s wicked wishes.
The story traverses as Kaida and the people that have gravitated to her looks for a way to free everyone from Willow's clutches.
This book relays the hopeful message that even the most oppressive religions can collapse, when the people wake up and band together, and that the most powerful force is ignited when the good stand up against those full of greed for power.
Moran hopes that her book will entertain its readers. When asked what she wants readers to take away from her book, she responds, “To be able to become saddened that they have to return to the world after experiencing the world and characters I created.” Moran’s brother inspired her to accomplish writing this book as a way to build herself up. He wanted Moran to have an outlet after having hit rock bottom in her life.

#Traitors4Trump
by Tom H. Hastings
742 words
The fake president in the White House is a traitor, a liar, a braggart, and a tool.
Trump is violating the Constitution every chance he gets, profiting from his office, which is illegal. He sells rooms in his hotels to government employees, such as Secret Service, for higher than retail rates. He diverts military maneuvers to force personnel to land sort of near his resorts and then compels them to travel to rent rooms from him.
These sorts of violations of the emoluments clause seem minor, and perhaps they are in some sense, but they reveal Trump’s bottomless greed and corruption and spoiled brat entitlement.
Trump actually told a rally of his that he should be the Man of the Year every year, even as he mocked Swedish teenage climate chaos resistance girl Greta Thunberg, who was in fact declared Person of the Year by Time magazine.
Some of this behavior is illegal and impeachable by Trump, much is simply disgusting. That is Trump’s daily regimen, to commit a few revolting acts every day.
The world understands, the intelligence community verifies, that Putin’s Russia is once again manipulating social media and doing so to attempt to reëlect Trump. Trump cannot handle such honesty; he fires the US intelligence official who warns us about that. Traitor Trump. That is his new nick.
From interfering in the justice department on behalf of his criminal friends, and falsely claiming that he is the “Chief Law Enforcement” officer in the US, to his petty attacks on anyone who isn’t fawning over him, this morally-challenged manreally not a man, just an aged big fat adolescent if we consider soul and emotional maturitythis pathetic dude is just one person.
The real question for America is, “How many continue to support this bozo? He is a criminal from dawn to dusk, from dusk to dawn, and yet there are those--certainly virtually all elected Republicans who value their lives and livelihoods--who continue to lick his boots.
I am so ashamed of anyone who supports Trump. I cannot believe they call themselves Americans. This is way past partisan disagreement; this is support for a gangster, a thug boss. I guess their only excuse is they are hardworking folk who only have time for one news source and it’s easiest and fastest to choose Fox News, a rabidly pro-Trump, anti-truth, fact-free source if there ever was one.
Oh, well, we shouldn’t blame folks for not having the time to check it all out.
Yes. We should.
In the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s those of us who were working for peace, justice, and sustainability were frequently labeled commies and “Russian dupes.”
Yeah. We rejected that. We were activists against Soviet domination of other countries, we opposed Soviet violations of human rights.
We were the ones speaking out and acting in resistance. I personally went, in the winter of 1987, to the Soviet embassy in Washington DC and was arrested for resisting their nuclear weapons pointed at everyone I loved. I was cuffed and stuffed and went to jail for my opposition to Soviet violations of democracy. I didn’t see any Trump-type people doing anything like that.
As someone who opposed all nuclear weapons, I could not simply resist those of my own government, in good conscience. I needed to act with integrity and resist the Soviet bombs too. So I did. I knew no one in our movement of opposition to the US arsenal that did not also oppose the Soviet weapons. But we see a different and far more dichotomous voter now, Trumpees, who will vote for him no matter how dictatorial he becomes. It’s shameful.
It is proven that Putin is trying to influence US voters to reëlect Trump. Anyone who votes for that tool is empowering a traitor. This is getting as real as it can be. As we slide toward dictatorship, we will see who the patriots might be.
Democracy requires patriots.
Trump and Putin require stooges.
This is looking like a jump ball. Those who support Trump are anti-democratic and if they vote for him they support an end to the experiment the Founders began. We either get involved or we lose more than 240 years of this American experiment in the notion of a three co-equal branch government. Trump’s acolytes are rolling us toward some sort of monarchy or fascist dictatorship. Will his base support that? Will there be enough of us to stop them?
We shall see.

Press Release
USDA Invests $5 Million in Broadband for Rural Georgia Communities
CLAXTON, Ga., Feb. 21, 2020 – Today, Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue announced a $5 million investment in two, high-speed broadband infrastructure projects that will create or improve rural e-Connectivity for 1,221 rural households, 32 pre-subscribed businesses and 20 pre-subscribed farms in McIntosh and Evans counties in Georgia. This is one of many funding announcements in the first round of the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) ReConnect Pilot Program investments.
“Our core mission at USDA is to increase rural prosperity through boosting economic opportunity in rural America,” Perdue said. “We know that rural communities need robust, modern infrastructure to thrive, and that includes having access to broadband e-Connectivity. Under the leadership of President Trump, USDA is proud to partner with rural communities to deploy this critical infrastructure, because we know when rural America thrives, all of America thrives.”
The Darien Telephone Company will use a $1 million ReConnect Program grant to expand high-speed internet service to underserved households and businesses in McIntosh County, using Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) technology. The project’s service area includes 257 households, 17 pre-subscribed businesses and a critical community facility.
The Pembroke Telephone Company will use a $2 million ReConnect Program grant and a $2 million ReConnect Program loan to build an FTTP network to provide high-speed internet to residents, businesses and farms in Evans County. The project’s service area includes 964 households, 20 pre-subscribed farms and 15 pre-subscribed businesses.
Background:
In March 2018, Congress provided $600 million to USDA to expand broadband infrastructure and services in rural America. On Dec. 13, 2018, Secretary Perdue announced the rules of the program, called “ReConnect,” including how the loans and grants will be awarded to help build broadband infrastructure in rural America. USDA received 146 applications between May 31, 2019, and July 12, 2019, requesting $1.4 billion in funding across all three ReConnect Program funding products: 100 percent loan, 100 percent grant, and loan-grant combinations. USDA is reviewing applications and announcing approved projects on a rolling basis. Additional investments in all three categories will be made in the coming weeks.
These grants, loans and combination funds enable the federal government to partner with the private sector and rural communities to build modern broadband infrastructure in areas with insufficient internet service. Insufficient service is defined as connection speeds of less than 10 megabits per second (Mbps) download and 1 Mbps upload.
In December 2019, Agriculture Secretary Perdue announced USDA will be making available an additional $550 million in ReConnect funding in 2020. USDA will make available up to $200 million for grants, up to $200 million for 50/50 grant/loan combinations, and up to $200 million for low-interest loans. The application window for this round of funding opened on Jan. 31, 2020. Applications for all funding products will be accepted in the same application window, which will close on March 16, 2020.
A full description of 2020 ReConnect Pilot Program funding is available on page 67913 of the Dec. 12, 2019, Federal Register (PDF, 336 KB). To learn more about eligibility, technical assistance and recent announcements, visit www.usda.gov/reconnect.
In April 2017, President Donald J. Trump established the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity to identify legislative, regulatory and policy changes that could promote agriculture and prosperity in rural communities. In January 2018, Secretary Perdue presented the Task Force’s findings to President Trump. These findings included 31 recommendations to align the federal government with state, local and tribal governments to take advantage of opportunities that exist in rural America. Increasing investments in rural infrastructure is a key recommendation of the task force. To view the report in its entirety, please view the Report to the President of the United States from the Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity (PDF, 5.4 MB). In addition, to view the categories of the recommendations, please view the Rural Prosperity infographic (PDF, 190 KB).
USDA Rural Development provides loans and grants to help expand economic opportunities and create jobs in rural areas. This assistance supports infrastructure improvements; business development; housing; community facilities such as schools, public safety and health care; and high-speed internet access in rural areas. Hi Dawn,
If you blinked, you might have missed it. On January 1, a limited trade deal between the United States and Japan took effect.
Unfortunately, the deal is far from comprehensive and fails to protect several key U.S. business sectors -- particularly those that rely on strong intellectual property protections.
Below, Georgetown University professor and international trade expert Marc Busch argues that Congress must demand more comprehensive provisions during the next phase of US-Japan trade talks.
Can you use his guest column?
Best,
Emily

Bring IP Back Into US-Japan
By Marc L. Busch
If you blinked, you might have missed it. On January 1, a limited trade deal between the United States and Japan took effect. It doesn't go nearly far enough.
The US-Japan "phase one" agreement commits Japan to buy more US agriculture and calls for fewer obstacles to digital trade. That's pretty much it.
But it's not too late to fix things. That's because a new round of talks is scheduled to kick off in April. Expectations have to be set higher. Congress should demand that US-Japan be expanded, starting with intellectual property (IP).
The US is a creative economy. Ideas drive our economic growth. Intellectual property, including patents, copyrights, and trademarks, makes this possible. It compensates artists, scientists, inventors, and investors for bringing their ideas to market, despite the high risk of foreign theft.
Unfortunately, these ideas are easy to steal or reverse engineer -- especially in countries that do not provide the robust IP protections that exist already in the US. Strengthening other countries' IP protections through trade agreements, therefore, would increase investment in the American creative industries. The implications for our prosperity are obvious. The software industry, for example, contributes $1 trillion to our economy each year, and the biopharmaceutical industry generates $1.3 trillion in economic output. All told, IP-intensive industries -- including film, technology, and publishing -- support 58 million jobs across the country.
In Japan, US ideas-based goods and services face a variety of IP and other challenges.
For example, Japan does relatively little to crack down on online piracy, one of the most common forms of IP theft. Japanese citizens made 10.6 billion visits to piracy sites in 2017, making them some of the biggest consumers of illegal music, movies, and television shows. Piracy costs America $30 billion and up to 560,000 jobs every year, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Other Japanese policies also undermine US creativity. Innovative drugs from the US are treated less favorably than those from Japan, rewarding domestic over foreign scientists through preferential government-imposed prices. For drugs and medical devices, Japan tends to reward work done in Japan, like clinical trials, through faster approvals, more so than the novelty of the product.
To protect America's creativity and innovation, the US needs much stronger IP across all industries, as well as equal treatment of its ideas through other policies.
To accomplish this, the US needs a different trade "template" than the one we've seen recently. Each time the US concludes a trade deal, it not only wins concessions from the other side, but sets expectations concerning future deals. IP has to be front and center in the US template, not just for trade with Japan, but the long list of countries that President Trump is eyeing next.
