"A lot of times our guys put themselves in a lot of danger, and you end up almost in as bad a shape as the person you're trying to rescue," says John Welter, a BORSTAR agent in the San Diego sector of the Border Patrol.
President Trump's proposed food stamp reform has been denounced by the left as a "horror" that arbitrarily cuts food stamp benefits by 25 percent.
The North Carolina State Board of Elections announced that at least 41 noncitizens cast ballots in 2016, another 441 were felons serving an active sentence, 24 voted more than once, and two voted under names of dead family members.

Nutrition experts are calling on the federal government to heavily regulate the levels of caffeine permitted in energy drinks out of fear that the beverages are harming public health, particularly that of youth.
