Traycer Wilson is my nomination for student of the month for Science for his drive to learn as much as he can about Astronomy. He has demonstrated the desire to learn as much as he can about space and the progress we have made to explore the universe around us. He has come up to me many times and asked great questions about the space program and different planets. He is a very self-motivated student that wants to learn as much as he can. He is a great person to have in class because he is willing to have fun and learn at the same time.
Amanda Chadwick nominated Rebecca Phillips for January Student of the Month in Math Rebecca is the daughter of Jim and Christine Phillips.
Rebecca is respectful and kind to other students and teachers. She works very hard to understand math concepts, even when they do not come easy for her. When she does not understand a concept, she asks questions and works until she does understand. Rebecca is a great student to have in class.
Cameron Baird, nominated by Andrea Brandley for January Student of the Month in Math. Cameron is the son of Jennifer Ballard and Kelly and Summer Baird
Cameron Baird is the math student of the month. He has struggled in math in the past earning low grades but started this trimester with a new attitude and desire to improve. He works diligently in class and even works with other students offering help when he can and when others need it. He has been consistently turning assignments in, studying for tests, and doing test corrections if he receives a low score. He currently has a B+ in my class and has made a goal to have an A by the end of the trimester. I have enjoyed teaching him and of proud of his hard work!
Morgan Christensen is the daughter of Todd and Roxann Christensen. Morgan is the January Language Arts Student of the Month bing nominated by Brandon Nelson.
It is my pleasure to nominate Morgan Christensen for student of the month for Language Arts.
Morgan is one of my 10th grade English Language Arts students. She has been in my class for the last two trimesters. She is one of the best students in the entire 1oth grade. She is a hard worker and a model student. She has near perfect grades in the class and does so while balancing extra-curricular activities.
Morgan gets along well with her peers. She has a positive influence on those who feel like something is difficult to accomplish. She is upbeat and has a positive attitude about learning and school. She is well organized and completes all work prior to the time they are due.
She shows school spirit and seems to really be what all students strive to be like. She is a true asset to the school and community.
