President Donald Trump will reveal tonight his pick for the Supreme Court, widely reported to be one of two federal appeals court judges—Neil Gorsuch or Thomas Hardiman.
"I consistently maintained that the next president would fill [Justice Scalia's] vacancy," writes Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. "I held to that view even when nearly everyone thought the president would be Hillary Clinton."
"We are establishing new vetting measures to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States," President Trump said. "We want to make sure we aren't admitting to our country the threats our soldiers are fighting overseas."
