USDA TO CONDUCT SEPTEMBER HOGS AND PIGS SURVEY
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – August 5, 2019 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is contacting producers for the September Hogs and Pigs Survey. The agency will survey pork producers for detailed information on market hog and breeding stock inventories as well as pig crop and farrowing intentions. “According to the most recent Quarterly Hogs and Pigs report in June, there were 75.5 million hogs and pigs in the United States,” said Bill Meyer, Director, Mountain Regional field Office. “The September survey and resulting report will continue to provide important indicators for the industry of what changes are occurring – if any.” NASS will mail the questionnaires to all producers selected for the survey in August. To ensure all survey participants have an opportunity to respond, NASS interviewers will contact producers who do not respond by mail or online to conduct telephone and personal interviews. “The data gathered in these quarterly surveys allow NASS to accurately measure and report conditions and trends in the U.S. pork industry over the course of the year.” Added Meyer. “The information is used by all sectors of the industry to help make sound and timely business decisions.” As with all NASS surveys, the results of this survey will be available in aggregate form only, ensuring that no individual operation or producer can be identified. NASS will publish the survey results in the Quarterly Hogs and Pigs report on September 27, 2019. These and all NASS reports are available online at http://www.nass.usda.gov/Publications/

SHARE NEW SINGLE "LIFE WON'T WAIT"
WATCH THE MUSIC VIDEO NOW
AUGUST 5, 2019 - UK hardcore band GroundCulture have shared a new single, "Life Won't Wait". Fans can watch the music video now, via the Hopeless Records YouTube channel: smarturl.it/LifeWontWaitVideo
"Life Won't Wait" is also available to stream or download via Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.
Speaking to the song, vocalist Roy Waston said, "Have you ever questioned why life doesn't slow down? In a world of loud thinkers, silence acts as nothing but a pawn in the iris of opportunity. We have all chosen blind ignorance over action at times, normally not down to a lack of ability, but because true progress feeds off a constant moulding discomfort which is difficult to stand in the centre of. How Well Do You Really Know Yourself?"
Last year, GroundCulture announced their signing to Hopeless Records and re-issued their self-titled EP, which was rereleased in June of last year.
GroundCulture is made up of Roy Watson (vocals), Lewi Shoulder (guitar), Mattie Turner (guitar), George Collings (bass), and Andy Lonsdale (drums). Hailing from Newcastle, the band has been steadily touring since the release of their self-titled EP in June 2018, including a run opening for Crossfaith.
Speaking to the dynamic of the band, GroundCulture described themselves as "...five segments of the same vision. We are one culture cursed by a disconnect inside the fabrics of our conscious mind. We are the backs against the wall, determined to inspire change through connection."

USDA TO MEASURE SMALL GRAIN PRODUCTION
LAKEWOOD, Colo. – August 5, 2019 – As the 2019 crop production season continues, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) will be contacting producers nationwide to determine the production and supply of small grains in the United States. “Each year, the agriculture industry eagerly awaits USDA’s Small Grains Summary, which provides the final estimates for small grains to include wheat, oats, barley and rye,” said Bill Meyer, Director, Mountain Regional field Office. “The small grains industry is an important part of agriculture and it is crucial for all involved with the agriculture sector to have accurate data about this key sector of the economy.” NASS will mail the survey questionnaire in August, asking producers to provide information on acreage, yield and production as well as quantities of grains stored on farm. The data collected from this survey will also help set estimates at the county level, to be published in December 2019. NASS encourages producers to respond online or by mail. Those producers who do not respond by August 30 may be contacted for a telephone or personal interview. “We recognize that this is a hectic time for farmers and ranchers,” Added Meyer. “But the information they provide helps U.S. agriculture remain viable and capable. I urge them all to respond to these surveys and thank them for their time and cooperation.” As with all NASS surveys, the results of this survey will be available in aggregate form only, ensuring that no individual operation or producer can be identified. Survey results will be published in the Small Grains Summary and quarterly Grain Stocks report to be released on September 30, 2019. These and all NASS reports are available online at http://www.nass.usda.gov/Publications/

Philadelphia, PA - Lilac is in bloom. The highly anticipated 5th studio album from alternative rock icons The Early November is set to be released on September 27th via Rise Records. The band's first album since 2015's Imbue, Lilac represents a shift towards a more pop-centric sound while preserving the raw vulnerability that The Early November has become known for. Pre-orders are available now alongside a brand new video for lead single "Hit By A Car (In Euphoria)": www.theearlynovembermusic.net.
"Lilac started with the idea of trying to help someone. I was losing sleep over it, and it got really heavy for me. There were times when I got lost in wishing that things would get better," admits lead singer Ace Enders. "But over time it became a reflection of the idea that it's okay to be dark, it's okay to feel like you're at the bottom. Sometimes you dig these deep holes for yourself - you just have to realize it's up to you to get out if it."
The Early November will be supporting the release with a fall headline tour featuring support from Have Mercy and OWEL. The month-long run kicks off on September 13th in College Park, with stops in Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, and more. It concludes with a hometown show in Philadelphia on October 19th.
