Gov. Gary R. Herbert issued the following statement on last night's Legislative leadership elections:
"I congratulate Speaker-elect Greg Hughes and the newly elected members of House leadership. I look forward to working with them and the continuing leadership team in the Senate, led by President Wayne Niederhauser, to accelerate our state's remarkable economic success and enhance Utah's unsurpassed quality of life."
The governor continues his economic development trade mission in São Paulo, Brazil today through Tues., Nov. 11.
