ST. GEORGE , UT, USA, August 6, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ -- ST. GEORGE, UTAH – August 5, 2019 – The St. George community is invited to join Port of Subs, Your Neighborhood Sandwich Shop, to celebrate the grand opening of its new store at 922 E. Brigham Road, Wednesday, August 21 from 7am – 9pm.
“Our new location serves the St. George’s southern neighborhoods making it more convenient for families to enjoy our sliced fresh sandwiches,” said Randy Morrison, franchise owner of both St. George Port of Subs locations. “Our St. George Boulevard store is popular with the university and communities on the north side of town and the East Brigham and Thunder Road location will make it more convenient for Bloomington Hills and Desert Hills families to enjoy our sliced fresh sandwiches.”
The Brigham Road store is the first Port of Subs location to be a dual concept restaurant; it shares space with Sipsanity, which features specialty soft drinks, create your own juice blends, and delicious sweets and treats. “We’re excited about the dual-restaurant concept – we believe that Sipsanity’s soft drink and dessert menu complements Port of Subs’ sliced-fresh sandwiches perfectly,” said Michael Adams, Port of Subs Regional Marketing Consultant. “It’s also a great addition to the neighborhood and it’s located perfectly to serve Desert Hills High School.”
Grand opening lasts all day long and will feature $4.00 medium classic sliced-fresh sandwiches all day long and a drawing to win a free medium classic sandwich every week for a year. In addition to its classic subs, grilled sandwiches, wraps, and desserts, Port of Subs features a full catering spread with many varieties of sandwich, fruit and dessert catering platters that are perfect for any occasion.

SaltStack SecOps is the only enterprise IT security product that can scan an infrastructure, determine non-compliance with policies such as a CIS Benchmark, DISA-STIGS, or NIST, and then automate remediation of any discovered vulnerability or misconfiguration. SaltStack event-driven automation is used to manage and secure any data center infrastructure including public and private cloud infrastructure, network devices, any operating system, Kubernetes or Docker containerized environments, and more.
SaltStack intelligent, event-driven automation makes self-healing, continuously compliant infrastructure possible.

Governor appoints new policy director and communications director
SALT LAKE CITY (August 6, 2019) – Gov. Gary R. Herbert has announced the appointments of Gordon Larsen as policy director and Anna Lehnardt as communications director, following Paul Edwards’ move to Brigham Young University’s Wheatley Institution.
“I am grateful to have both Gordon and Anna on my team,” Gov. Herbert said. “Since joining my administration in 2017, Gordon has been an invaluable adviser, helping us work successfully with the federal government and other states. His contributions will be crucial as my administration continues to work to ensure Utah remains the best place to live, to work, and raise a family. Anna’s tireless work ethic and dedication to keeping the press and public informed will be vital as we continue to coordinate communication efforts across all platforms.”
Larsen has served as director of federal affairs to Gov. Herbert since October of 2017 and will retain his federal affairs portfolio in his role as policy director. He previously served as legislative counsel for congressional affairs at the U.S. Agency for Global Media and as a legislative adviser to Representatives Chris Stewart and Rob Bishop. A native of Kearns, Utah, Larsen attended Brigham Young University and holds JD and MBA degrees from the College of William and Mary.
“I love Utah, and I’m thrilled for the new responsibilities and the chance to help Gov. Herbert continue the successes that make Utah a consistent leader among states,” Larsen said.
Lehnardt has served as Gov. Herbert’s public information officer since November of 2017. Before serving in that capacity, she worked as a communications specialist on his team, executing digital and multimedia communication strategy on behalf of the administration. She holds a master’s degree in comparative literature and bachelor’s degrees in English, French and German from the University of Utah. During her time at the University of Utah, Lehnardt served as editor-in-chief of The Daily Utah Chronicle.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the Herbert/Cox administration,” Lehnardt said. “I look forward to implementing a rigorous strategy to help Utahns stay better informed through our press, web and social media outreach.”
Larsen will fully transition to his new role by early fall. Lehnardt’s appointment is effective immediately.
