State High School Art Show in Springville - Weber High did very well again this year! We had 9 pieces selected (6 artists), which is still one of the best in the state. Congratulations to these great artists that were selected to participate:

There is a Teens-for-Jeans drive being held until the 14th of February. We are collecting full-length pants in good, wearable condition for homeless youth. All sizes are accepted. Colored denim is also OK. There will be a box in the main office to donate jeans.
FCCLA Activity - Come and make cookies and enjoy some valentines fun on February 12th after school in the foods room. This is one activity you will not want to miss.

Students: It’s that time of year when scholarship offers are rolling in. Please accept all offers, and when you receive an offer, report these to Mrs. Tanner in counseling. We will be honoring you in our scholarship assembly in May.
On Saturday, 1 Feb, the WHS Colorguard traveled to Bear River High School for their first competition of the season. The group was moved up a class from last year and on Saturday they finished in 3rd place.
Fill out your FAFSA and win $500. FAFSA is the application you fill out to be eligible for money for college like grants, work-study, student loans, and even some scholarships. Come to the meeting on February 12th, 5pm at Weber in the library and experts will be there to help you make filling out the application as quick and easy as possible.

SWEETHEARTS DANCE: Coming up is the 2014 Sweethearts Dance! Friday, February 14th from 8:00-10:30 in the Commons. $15 pre-pay, $20 at the door. GIRLS CHOICE!! Semi-formal. The theme is “Enchanted.”

Get your act ready--once again the PTSA is hosting WEBER'S GOT TALENT AND BATTLE OF THE BANDS! Auditions are Monday, February 3rd at 3:30pm in the choir room. Event night is Monday, February 10th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Prize drawings at event for a class pizza party and breakfast party plus giveaways. Plan now to attend!
