New York, NY - February 6, 2018 - Long Island alternative rockers, The Republic of Wolves have announced the release of their highly anticipated third full-length album shrine, due out March 27, 2018. Additionally, the band recently released a video for the powerful track "Mitama," off of the album, which is available to watch HERE.
Mason Maggio, the band's vocalist and guitarist shares, "shrine is our third full-length album, and thus far it feels like the most complete representation of who we are collectively as artists. Lyrically it's a roughly narrative concept album, drawing inspiration from mythology and folklore, and musically it's the amalgamation of three years' worth of ideas and experimentation - all leading to a cohesive body of work that we're immensely proud of."

Joining the Arbor Day Foundation is an ideal way to get in the mood for spring planting. Anyone who joins the Foundation in February 2018 will receive 10 free Norway spruce trees or 10 free redbud trees to plant when the weather turns warm.
The free trees are part of the nonprofit Foundation’s Trees for America campaign.
“These trees will help beautify your home for many years to come,” said Matt Harris, chief executive of the Arbor Day Foundation. “The trees will also add to the proud heritage of your state’s existing Tree City USA communities.”
The Tree City USA program has supported community forestry throughout the country for the past 40 years.
The trees will be shipped postpaid at the right time for planting, between March 1 and May 31, with enclosed planting instructions. The 6- to 12-inch trees are guaranteed to grow, or they will be replaced free of charge.
Members also receive a subscription to the Foundation’s colorful bimonthly publication, Arbor Day, and The Tree Book, which contains information about planting and care.
To become a member of the Foundation and receive the free trees, send a $10 contribution to TEN FREE NORWAY SPRUCE TREES or TEN FREE EASTERN REDBUD TREES, Arbor Day Foundation, 100 Arbor Avenue, Nebraska City, NE 68410, by February 28, 2018, or visit arborday.org/february.

The Tribune’s new online paywall is understandable--but fraught with danger. The paper is in danger of losing 50-75% of their online eyeballs. The loss of fair, independent news by so many Utahns is scary. I appreciate the commitment of the Huntsman Family toward the Tribune (Jon Sr told me they are losing $2-$3 million dollars a year). I hope the firewall pay plan works and I beg Utahns to buy-in. The Trump State of the Union speech was not for Fox regulars. Rather it was delivered to the 'moderate' Dancing with the Stars crowd. I suspect most of the speech hit America/Utah rather well. That muted/moderate/reasonable Trump will be the GOP message we will face in the 2018 elections. We need to understand that that is how many Utahns see Trump. Not the ‘Rachel Maddow’ Trump. Read more
