  1. After a Donald Trump rally in Chicago was cancelled Friday night due to clashes between protesters and Trump supporters, Trump is getting torched by Democrats for inciting violence [Reuters, CNN, Politico]. Trump is blaming Bernie Sanders fans for disrupting the rally [Washington Post].
  2. Trump says he may pay the legal bills for one of his backers who punched a protester at a rally in North Carolina [Politico].
  3. Mitt Romney will join John Kasich on the campaign trail in Ohio [New York Times, Politico].
  4. Tuesday could be the "most important" day in the race for the GOP nomination in primaries in Florida and Ohio may be the only way to stop Donald Trump from rolling to the GOP nomination [Politico]. On the Democratic side, midwestern states may keep Bernie Sanders from falling farther behind Hillary Clinton, who is expected to romp in Florida [Politico].
  5. Trump says he knew nothing about the scheduled GOP debate in Salt Lake City on March 21, and he's not interested in participating [Tribune, Deseret News].
  6. Gov. Gary Herbert says he would support Trump if he wins the GOP nomination [Associated Press].
  7. The Utah GOP is expecting a big turnout for the caucuses on March 22 [Utah Policy].
  8. A new poll says Utahns think Congressional candidates should live in the districts they're seeking to represent, which could be trouble for Democrat Charlene Albarran [Utah Policy].
  9. Presidential candidates and their surrogates are heading to Utah this week to campaign:
    • Chelsea Clinton is coming on Tuesday to rally Democrats [Tribune].
    • Marco Rubio will be in Utah Wednesday and Thursday [Fox 13].
    • John Kasich swings through Utah on Friday [Tribune].
  10. Rep. Mike Noel says it may not be the right time for a proposed lawsuit against the federal government over public lands following the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia [Tribune].
