Publishing on April 3, 2018 from Jack White's Third Man Books, Destruction of Man is a book-length poem about small scale family farming in the midst of the get-big-or-get-out mantra and foghorn. 

Destruction of Man is a book by a poet-farmer, whose farm is located in Ladysmith, WI, about farming, and family, and stung body, stung land. The conclusions Smith presents are clarion clear: rurality has its music and all we have is love. Following the words of Gertrude Stein: "After all anybody is as their land and air is." 

A caucus meeting on Tue Mar 20th at 7:00 pm sponsored by the Constitution Party is scheduled in 6 different locations in Weber County.  Please attend at one of the 6 location: Ogden, North Ogden, Washington Terrace, Roy, Hooper, and Huntsville. The addresses are listed on the attached sheet.

Neighborhood   Caucus   Meeting

My editor asked me what I thought about the sensationalized news reports of a Preston, Idaho junior high school science teacher feeding a puppy to a snake.  I think she was suggesting I point my attention to the story regarding an oped viewpoint from me.  I said to her, rather glibly, “Bon Appetit!”  

Jesse Phippen was nominated by Janet Stolworthy for February FACS Student of the Month.  Jesse is the daughter of Shane and Jennifer Phippen

I take pleasure in nominating JESSE PHIPPEN as the FACS Student of the Month states Janet Stolworthy, FACS teacher at Box Elder High School.

It has been my privilege to work with Jesse as her Culinary Arts Educator as well as her FCCLA advisor.   I have been able to observe her in many settings and find her to be an amazing young woman.  She is a highly motivated culinary student.
