Weber High’s Tarzan was a Big Hit

Tarzan was presented by Weber High’s production company and directed by Mr. Daniels. Tarzan, the stage musical based on the Disney film, was a perfect choice for their play. The teamwork and hard work for all these young actors didn’t go unnoticed by the audience.

This is a story of an orphaned boy raised by gorillas, and his journey to become a man, as he discovers what it means to be part of a family.

Pleasant View Well

At the last few City Council meetings in Pleasant View, Councilmembers and Mayor Toby Mileski have been discussing their plans for a new well located near Alder Creek to help supply more water to the City. Pleasant View has spent $110,000 towards design and engineering of the well. With this is mind, they [the Councilmembers] have expected to hear some opposition, but so far there hasn’t been any. Bona Vista hasn’t made a comment yet, but Tage Flint, General Manager/CEO of Weber Basin Water, did reply to our questions.

Choosing A Chief

The North View Fire District recently welcomed David Wade, a 28-year veteran as the newest Fire Chief. Wade was named to the position late in 2013 after unanimous support from the North View Fire District Board.

Choosing a new Fire Chief, or even Chief of Police, is a long process. Each municipality has its own criteria, though certain standards are generally applied.

Making of America Seminar

Have you ever wondered how was America made and why do we not see the stories of American history in the schools anymore?  Who were the pilgrims and founding fathers and what did they know that caused them to create this great country that has been considered the most powerful and prosperous throughout history?  Did God have a hand in it?
