Treasurer Damschen to lead the National Association of State Treasurers as the 2019 president

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – October 1, 2018 – Utah State Treasurer David Damschen today was elected by his fellow state treasurers to serve as the 2019 president of the National Association of State Treasurers (NAST). NAST is a bipartisan association comprised of state treasurers and state finance officials with comparable responsibilities. 

Governor appoints David Williams to the Second District Court

SALT LAKE CITY (Oct. 1, 2018) – Gov. Gary R. Herbert has appointed David Williams as a judge for the Second District Court.

“David Williams has a nuanced understanding of the law that will serve him well on the Second District Court,” Gov. Herbert said. “I believe he will be unbiased and bring honesty and integrity to the bench.”

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) says that the average full-time worker has about 3.25 hours of leisure time available on weekdays – and since relaxation is part of our business model, this got us wondering: how is free time related to other important areas of life?
