Rising healthcare costs are taking their toll on American patients. Half of adults say they or a loved one skipped or delayed treatment in the past year due to cost concerns, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. About a quarter say they or a family member has struggled to pay medical bills.

This can't go on. We need to find ways to lower the overall cost of care and help patients afford the procedures and prescriptions they need.

Utah Youth Education in Shooting Sports Begins Largest Season In Its History

SPANISH FORK, UT – The Utah Youth Education in Shooting Sports program (UTYESS), began its season with record-breaking attendance at the 2020 Season Opener, held February 8, 2020. The season opener had over 320 student-athlete entries in the 150-target competition, including participants from Utah and Idaho.

 

“Youth shooting sports today is the nation’s fastest-growing high school sport,” said Brian Beard, President of UTYESS. “The same is true for here in Utah as well”.

Utah event venue closes locations nationwide, leaving brides out thousands of dollars

 

(2/11/2020) Salt Lake City, UT — A wedding venue company out of Lehi has shut its doors for good, leaving brides all over the country stranded before their weddings. Having first opened in 2007, NOAH'S Event Venue (officially NOAH Corporation) grew to 6 locations in the first four years. By 2018, NOAH'S had 42 event centers all over the country.

Local animal shelters unite at the Utah State Capitol to meet with legislators

WHAT:   The Utah Humane Society and multiple local animal control services gather in solidarity to meet with legislators. Shelter staff, officers and animals will gather from 9 a.m. to noon on the South Steps of the Utah State Capitol building.
