For more than 18 years I've helped to build Weber County as a community and business leader. During that time, I've come to know and love this wonderful and important area in our state. I've gotten to know the families, the businesses, and the elected officials. I know this area's needs and I've helped plan for them. That's why I'm running to be your representative in the Utah State Legislature.

Here is some vital information you will want to know in regards to Jeff Hadfield who is seeking re-election.

Hadfield is the owner and operator of BayWash Car Wash and Hadfield Financial. He is a board member of EDCUtah, UAC, Brigham Community Hospital, Soil Cons. District, Central Fire District, CRM, and Emergency Mgt. Coalition.

Jason B. Kyle would like to run for Utah House District 8 and says, “I am not the established candidate. If you want someone who has rubbed shoulders and made deals with the well-connected, then I am not your man. If you want someone who will look out for your interest, keep your taxes low, defend your God-given rights and liberties, then I am the candidate to represent District 8 in the Utah House of Representatives.”

James Ebert Running for Weber County Commissioner

With a population of 248,000 people in Weber County, James Ebert would like to be the next Weber County Commissioner to serve the citizens here. Weber County is full of diversity, recreational outdoor space and creativity.  Ebert has a desire to be committed to building a prosperous county through economic and community development.

Clark Davis is running for Utah Senate District 17.  He is a business owner and co-founded the CPA firm of Davis and Bott. Clark has felt an obligation to serve within his community for many years.  He was elected as Mayor of Brigham City for two terms and then Box Elder County Commissioner for two terms.

Davis is a proven, qualified and experienced community leader.

Races and candidates

Election 2018 is officially underway in Box Elder County, with multiple candidates filing for federal, state and county offices before the March 15 deadline.

    Several local incumbent Republicans are facing challengers from within their own party, as well as opponents from the Democratic and Constitution parties, while other incumbents are running unopposed. This year there are also two open seats for the Utah Senate and Utah House, with many well-known names vying for those positions.

U.S. Senate (Orrin Hatch, retiring)

The Caucus is over, the convention is done and Republican David MacInnes has chosen to file for Weber County Sheriff.

 He says, “I’m in this election because over two thousand citizens of this county signed a petition to put my name on the primary ballot. I’m here because of you.  I’m here because you believe in me and for that I am humbled and thankful.”
