5 additional resources to help in the fight against invasive quagga mussels

SALT LAKE CITY — During the recent legislative session, additional funding was allocated to keep quagga and zebra mussels from spreading from Lake Powell to other local waterbodies.

When Eternity Comes First

I say let’s get eternity over with now so we can look forward to the future.  Maybe even start enjoying the moment ...make the most of it because there are no guarantees for the future, and as for eternity, well, that’s just simply out of reach. 

Out of sight, out of mind. 

Sounds nuts, I know, like a shell game with time.  Now you see it (the future) now you don’t.  Where is it?  Here and now, or so far out reaching into eternity that it doesn’t even matter? 

The Trump administration has a new plan to reduce Americans' out-of-pocket drug bills. It's sure to face opposition from entrenched special interests. But if the administration succeeds in implementing the plan, patients will greatly benefit.

The proposed rule would reform how drug companies and insurers interact, especially in Medicare's Part D prescription benefit, which covers about 45 million seniors and Americans with disabilities. The government doesn't administer its own prescription plans. Instead, it allows private insurers to sell coverage to beneficiaries.

Attorney Generals for both Presidents Barack Obama (Eric Holder) and Donald Trump (William Barr) received congressional contempt citations, the enforcement of either required action from  DoJ personnel—their boss.  So, with Holder nothing happened and with Barr nothing will happen.  But there are big differences.
