The T-shirts have all been passed out. If you have not received yours please contact Shelly Weaver at 801-645-0070  and she will contact the T-shirt company.

Many people have asked if the PTA will place another T-shirt order.  We will br happy do this if we can have 3 parent volunteers. Contact Shelly Weaver if you are willing to help 801-645-0070.

Hello Parents!

As you know, the students have been learning about mindfulness this month. We have been practicing ways of being very still and focusing only on what’s happening right now as a way to settle our thoughts and feelings.

PTA is will be hosting an Art Night on October 8th @ 6pm. if you are interested in attending and want to register for a free art kit for your child, please CLICK HERE  

We will be doing vision screenings for all students in 1st through 6th grades on Tuesday, September 18th. If your student has prescription glasses or contacts, please make sure that they wear them so we can get an accurate assessment of their vision.

If you do not want your student's vision to be tested, please send a written note to their teacher or email the school nurse at laschaefer@wsd.net.

Greg Buker is from Miami, Florida, and he says the most outstanding feature of Miami is that it is a melting pot of cultures. If you want to learn about or experience a different culture, it is very easy to find. “Also,” he adds, “the beaches in Miami are pretty amazing.”
