The Dance Establishment was started in 1979. We offer many dance classes including: tap, jazz, ballet, point, hip-hop, lyrical, and contemporary. We have competition teams and regular recreation classes. Classes offered are from age 3 to adult. We currently have 2 locations—one in Plain City and one in Ogden. Plain City—New Life North View Church is putting on their Fall Community event on Halloween night calling this ‘Light the Night’. This takes place Friday, October 31, 2014, starting at 5:00pm to 8 pm. All are welcome to come to this event at the Plain City Town Square Park located at 2425 N. 4425 W. Hot dogs, popcorn, hot chocolate and soda will be served. There will be a bounce house, face painting, games for the kids to play, Trunk or Treat and someone will be making balloon animals. FREE! Fun for the whole family! 

Plain City—Election Day is November 4th. Everyone is encouraged to come out and vote. If you haven't checked out the Weber County Election website lately, you are missing out. There has been a lot of hard work to update it with useful information and resources to help Weber County voters be informed.

A Chalk Art Festival to Remember

Weber County - On August 31, an "Anti-Police Brutality" rally was held in Ogden in response to a police-involved fatal shooting in Furgeson, Missouri, and riots that followed, as well as to a police-involved fatal shooting of Dillon Taylor in Salt Lake City earlier in the month. Approximately 25 people showed up outside the Ogden courthouse with shirts and signs voicing opposition to a variety of local and national incidents of police use-of-force, including signs that read "Respect: No Bullets", "#MichaelBrown", and "Feds!

They offer a full line of decorated apparel and accessories for schools, businesses, family reunions, teams, etc. They offer in-house art and digitizing services. They will work to make your logo work in all mediums from printed to embroidery to vinyl.  If you don't have a logo yet, they can create one for you.  Besides the screen printing and embroidery, they also offer advertising products such as signs, banners, vehicle advertising or stickers.  They have promotional items such as water bottles, lanyards, magnets. They will make items 1 of a kind or as many as you need.

Plain City—Drama students at Fremont High are ready for the community to see them perform the Tony award-winning Broadway musical, “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Drama teacher, Aubrey Obray, really hopes that everyone will come out to support these students. “Even if members of the community are unfamiliar with the title of this show, it is no reason to stay away,” she said. “It is truly delightful and it'll be a surprise. It will be something new that most people outside of the theater profession probably haven't seen before.

North Ogden—If anyone had a chance to drive along Washington Boulevard on September 17, it’s likely he or she noticed all the American flags on display as part of the Constitution Day celebrations. This was the 6th year of the “Display of Faith and Patriotism” that goes along with Constitution Day to help remind everyone of the importance of the Constitution and for which it stands.
