On Friday night Senator Hatch, chairman of the Republican high-tech task force, welcomed Salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Mark Benioff to speak to the Utah Technology Council. In his introductory remarks he said:

"California may have Silicon Valley, but Utah’s Silicon Slopes continues to dominate in innovation and performance. Looking ahead to the next Congress, I intend to do everything in my power to enact pro-technology, pro-innovation policies that will ensure the continued success of our high-tech economy."
