UTOPIA Update

With every meeting the questions on UTOPIA and the so called savior for the towns, Macquarie, grows deeper.  In towns across the state those involved in the disastrous UTOPIA search to find the best answers for their towns. Brigham City’s Mayor Vincent has stated previously that the City is working hard to provide the best options for the City in the most cost effective manner. It seems all of the cities from Provo to Brigham City are stuck with the problems the original UTOPIA deal has caused.

Meet Representative Justin Fawson, House District 7

Pleasant View - Justin Fawson is the newest member of the Utah House of Representatives, appointed to replace Rep. Ryan Wilcox and represent House District 7 which includes North Ogden, Pleasant View and northern parts of Ogden. While only in office a few weeks, Representative Fawson isn’t new to the public service stage, having previously served on the North Ogden City Council. Getting to the Core of Common Core

Since the Common Core curriculum has been accepted and implemented throughout the State of Utah, there has been a lot of confusion about what Common Core is, how it affects Utah, who funded it and why it was implemented in the first place.
