With water being a precious item, there is hope on the horizon—the water line is in and the pump house is nearing completion. All that means we are going to be in business soon. With the water problem being addressed, and nearing its completion, we need to turn to the task of allowing sub divisions to move forward and file their applications for development. So now they can start the process of designing, road work, piping and the necessary items to have a subdivision approved.

On Monday, August 21, 2017, all of North America will be the host to an eclipse of the sun. Anyone within the path of totality can see one of nature’s most awe-inspiring sights - a total solar eclipse. This path, where the moon will completely cover the sun will stretch from Lincoln Beach, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. Observers outside this path will still see a partial solar eclipse where the moon covers part of the sun's disk.

Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Weber High’s track at 8:00 AM, there will be a charity fundraiser in support of the Brent Muno family and PMP cancer research. We hope many will come!  This event is family friendly! Kids will have supervised obstacle courses and activities on the football field.  There will be music, food trucks, raffle prizes, and, of course, FUN! Come participate in a worthwhile event to support a member of the community.  

Pre-registration for Wahlquist is going on until August 1. To pre-register your student go to wsd.net, click on MyWeber, create an account or log into your existing account. Follow the directions to register your student. Students and parents must electronically sign the forms. Registration can be paid online or at school with fee sheets. Please read all of the information.

Mark your calendar for the movie in Barker’s park on July 28th is Finding Nemo. Bring blankets and chairs and enjoy the movie. Starts about 9:00 pm (at dusk). Don’t forget the bug spray West Nile Virus has been found in a number of areas in Northern Utah.
