Governor monitoring events in Carbon, Davis Counties

 

SALT LAKE CITY (Aug. 5, 2014) – Gov. Herbert is monitoring local incidents this morning in various parts of the state including the flooding of approximately 100 homes in Carbon County, flooding in Emery County and the landslide in North Salt Lake.

 

The Governor’s Office and the Dept. of Public Safety are in close communication with local government and public safety officials in the affected counties. We do not have any requests for assistance from the state at this time.
