There is individual therapy, but you don’t want him to feel like he is the only one with his problems.

BE School District welcomes a new Superintendent

Box Elder County - On July 1st, 2014 Box Elder County School District will welcome a new superintendant. Ronald Tolman comes to us from Rigby, Idaho, where he has served as superintendent since 2003. He has also served in Afton, Wyoming, as superintendent; as well as having years of experience teaching elementary school and working as a principal.

Free Summer Reading Program at Weber Library

The Weber County Library System has done an excellent job serving Weber County residence by providing a free summer reading program. The “Laugh It Up” summer reading program encourages kids to read through the summer by providing a fun and hands on learning experience. Weber County Library is following the standards set by the American Library Association’s program, “Every Child Ready to Read,” a parent/caregiver education initiative stressing early literacy and focusing on; reading, writing, singing, playing and talking.

South Willard is an un-incorporated part of Box Elder County between incorporated Willard City, Utah, and the Weber County line.  It is almost identical in population and land mass as Willard City with each area having about 1,800 residents.  A committee of about 12 residents of South Willard was commissioned about 10 years ago by Box Elder County to provide input for a South Willard part of the Box Elder County plan.  That same committee has a “residue” (annexation committee) of about 6 or 7 people that have proposed continuing the annexation of South Willard by Willard City, according to

Meet Representative Justin Fawson, House District 7

Pleasant View - Justin Fawson is the newest member of the Utah House of Representatives, appointed to replace Rep. Ryan Wilcox and represent House District 7 which includes North Ogden, Pleasant View and northern parts of Ogden. While only in office a few weeks, Representative Fawson isn’t new to the public service stage, having previously served on the North Ogden City Council. Since the Common Core curriculum has been accepted and implemented throughout the State of Utah, there has been a lot of confusion about what Common Core is, how it affects Utah, who funded it and why it was implemented in the first place.

Common Core is a list of learning objectives that encourage teachers to help students find deeper meaning and engage them on more levels of learning in subjects such as mathematics, reading, and language arts.

RC Willey and Tempur-Pedic Donate 280 Mattresses to Utah Charities

SALT LAKE CITY – June 20, 2014 – RC Willey recently teamed up with Tempur-Pedic to donate 280 high-quality mattresses to Salt Lake area shelters in need.

140 mattresses were delivered to Salt Lake’s Catholic Community Services, and will be distributed to incoming refugees through their Refugee Resettlement Program.
